A lead investigator reviews every submission personally. We'll contact you within 24 hours by your preferred method — phone or email — to discuss what you've been experiencing and recommend the right approach for your situation.

No special preparation is required. We ask that you don't move or clean areas where activity has occurred, as baseline conditions help us establish accurate readings. We'll walk through everything with you before we begin.

We serve clients throughout Idaho and Nevada. Investigations outside the Boise metro area may include a travel fee, which we'll discuss transparently before scheduling. Investigations are free of charge — travel costs are billed separately based on distance and are non-refundable once incurred.

Most investigations are conducted at night when ambient noise and foot traffic are minimal, which improves the quality of our audio and environmental data. For commercial properties, we can work around your operating hours and schedule after-hours sessions.

A Residential Standard investigation runs approximately 4–6 hours in a single night. The Residential Comprehensive package spans two full nights for more thorough coverage. Commercial investigations are scoped individually based on property size and complexity.

You're welcome to be present, but it's not required. Many clients prefer to stay elsewhere for the night. We'll coordinate access with you in advance and keep you informed throughout the process.

We deploy professional-grade, calibrated instruments including full-spectrum cameras, EMF meters, digital voice recorders for EVP analysis, thermal imaging cameras, laser grid projectors, geophone sensors, and continuous environmental data loggers. We also use the XLS Camera, GS2 Laser Grid, and Boo Buddy 2 for enhanced detection.

We operate quietly and professionally. Our team is trained to minimize disruption — we work methodically through each area, communicate in low voices, and leave the property exactly as we found it. For businesses, we can schedule investigations outside operating hours.

You'll receive a full written evidence report within 7 days of the investigation. The report includes annotated audio clips, video stills, environmental data graphs, and our professional assessment of what we found — and what we ruled out.

A clean result is still a result. If our equipment and analysis find no anomalous activity, we'll document that clearly and explain the natural explanations we identified. Many clients find this reassuring. We never fabricate or exaggerate findings.

Your report belongs to you — you can share it however you choose. We only ask that if you share it publicly, you credit Ghost Host Paranormal Investigators. We will never share your case details or identity without your explicit written permission.

Absolutely. Ghost Host treats every case with complete discretion. We never share client names, addresses, property details, or case findings with anyone — including media, researchers, or other clients — without your explicit written consent. Every team member signs a confidentiality agreement.

We arrive in unmarked vehicles and carry equipment in discreet cases. There is nothing on our vehicles or clothing that identifies us as paranormal investigators unless you want us to. We understand that privacy is important and take every precaution.

Never without permission. We may ask if you'd be willing to share your experience as a testimonial or case study, but this is entirely optional. Your case will not appear on our website, social media, or any public materials without your written approval.

Our investigations are free of charge. Commercial investigations are custom-scoped based on property size. Travel expenses are billed separately based on distance.

Investigations are free of charge. If travel is required, we'll confirm those costs — including any travel fees — during your consultation call so there are no surprises. We accept major credit cards and electronic payment for travel expenses.

We understand that circumstances change. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled investigation are fully refunded. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a partial fee to cover preparation costs. We're always happy to reschedule.
